Decent pop music

I mean, the good stuff. The tunes you can remember, that don’t all sound the same as each other. They might be old, they might be new. I don’t cover songs unless I love them, what would be the point?

Still. There’s a ton of music still to discover, still being made, still to be written. There’s an infinite variety to be had out of those few notes.

If you listen to the radio for a while you might get the impression that modern music is written by committees with the intention of offending no one, engaging even fewer, giving singers the maximum opportunity to cram as much coloratura into a short a space as possible. So probably best not listen to the radio.

  1. Hi Joeee,

The funny thing there is that in our time, only those elderly are listening to radio. YouTube is the medium of music in this techno era. I can’t even remember myself when is the last time I listen to radio. I love songs that is meaningful and I also don’t waste time to listen those doesn’t catches my attention. What you call decent pop songs are also my time. Wish you can post of list of your songs so that I can check it out. Thank you for posting.

    1. Hi Alice. My songs are all over the place – there’s an album called ‘You Wouldn’t Do That At Home’ on iTunes and Spotify, and some demos of new songs on SoundCloud and YouTube!

      Thanks for tuning in 🙂
